It is hereby notified that, from and including 17th December, 1940, no person of whatever nationality will be allowed to enter the Colony of Hong Kong unless he shall be in possession of

a valid passport, or

ii. a certificate of residence in Hong Kong, or

iii. an entry pass.

Fees on an approved scale will be charged for the issue of each of the above documents, which may be obtained on application at the Immigration Office, 15, Queen's Road, Central, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., from and after 18th November.

Applicants should allow two days between the date of application and issue of the document.

Children under the age of 15 will not be required to have passes.

Any person leaving Hong Kong and intending to return after 17th December, 1910, should take care to provide himself with the appropriate document before leaving the Colony; otherwise he may experience considerable difficulty and inconvenience on his return, and may be confined in the Immigration Dépôt and deported to his place of origin.
